Day-1 - Singapore

I was scheduled to take a plane to Singapore at 7 am (as far as I could remember) Yogyakarta time (GMT +7). I already packed my stuffs the other day and the day before so no worries. I got to the airport a little past 5. It was less crowded compared to the afternoon and night time. It was a small airport named Adisutjipto International Airport at Sleman, Yogyakarta Special Province. Even though it has "International" in it's name, it's a small airport with so-so facilities. Anyway, I'm not going alone. I'm going with 18 of my friends and 4 teachers plus one guy from ASEAN. It's kinda hard to explain "that guy from ASEAN" but he's some kind of a volunteer for something.
So as soon as I got the airport, I bid goodbye to my family and checked-in for the flight. After Immigration processes and all those kinda stuff, I waited in the waiting room with my friends t get into the plane. After waiting for quite some time, the gate to the plane was open and I eventually entered the plane.
I was seated next to strangers. Well it's not exactly a bad thing. Because seated next to a kid or an obese (let alone an obese kid) is much worse. It took about 1,75 hours to get to Singapore. But I recalled we landed a little sooner because the Changi ATC gave us clearance to land a little sooner than expected too. So then we landed in Changi safely.
I got down from the plane and immediately looked for a toilet. After my toilet business is finished, I did the Immigration processing or whatever it's called and got my luggage in the belt soon after.
After all the airport business is done, we headed to a bus and went to a restaurant. You know, you can't reason with your stomach when it's hungry. We ate at a restaurant called Hejh Maimunah. All the foods there are halal. After we're full, we got back to the bus and were inbound for NEWater.
We got there at noon (I guess). In case you don't know, this NEWater thingy is some kind of a place to recycle water. I'm sure a lot of you people have heard about this. Unfortunately, we couldn't attend the tour there for some reasons that I can't seem to remember. Fortunately, the manager was kind enough to give us a bottle of NEWater each even though we did not attend the tour.
After NEWater, we went to the Sultan Mosque. Almost all of us were Muslims so we had to pray. We took our time and then we continued our journey to the next destination which is the Bugis Market.
In the Bugis Market I only bought 2 T-Shirts (despite how big the place was and how many kinds of things they sold). I'm not a shoppaholic and I tend to forget about people at home so I don't have any reason to buy anything else. However I have reasons not to. One of them is about packing. I'm not good at packing and I'm concerned that I can't pack the things that I buy on the way home. Anyway, we spent like an hour at the Bugis Market. After that, we went back in the bus and set forth to The Merlion.
On the way there, our tour guide said that the Merlion was under maintenance so the so called half lion half something statue wasn't bursting any water out of it's mouth. We only took photos of the Marina Bay there.
Next, we were en route to Sentosa Island. We went to see the famous Universal Studios Globe outside of the theme park itself. We did not go inside the theme park though. We only took pics there. After that we got ready to watch The Wings of Time. It's a water-laser show thingy (I'm sure you get what I mean). The story itself was rather boring. But the effects used in the show was majestic. I mean it's like so cool.
Sentosa was our last significant destination in Singapore. After that we were on our way to Malacca in Malaysia. We went there by bus and we spent some of our night sleeping in it. We arrived at our home stay in Malacca late at night. We rested there. And with that, day-1 ends...
PS: Sorry to make it such a long story.

Speech Script: Being an Introvert

Hey, Guys. I thought I'll share another speech script today. I used this script when I was competing in a competition held by a Senior High in Bantul, Yogyakarta Special Area. I got 1st in that competition so I think this one is pretty good. And I also wanna say that in this speech script I slipped in a little personal story of mine. So it's gonna be a little hard if you're going to copy it haha... So here you go. I’ve always felt that I’m different compared to most people. At least compared to most students in my school. On break time, they like to gather in groups and gossip about someone or chat about the current trends. I prefer not to. If I necessarily have to get involved in a group chat outside my class, I always try not to do the unnecessary. Not to talk too much. Some people say that I’m shy and weird. Some even say I’m arrogant and antisocial. The truth is, I’m an “introvert”. So ladies and gentlemen, the honourable judges, and my fellow competitors, this morn

Creating Contents and Getting it Out

Whether it's writing, typing, or making videos, getting stories out there into the public is a form of content creating. The stories in the form of words that you write or type and the videos that you film and produce will be seen by people and therefore your content would serve it's purpose. It could be an entertaining story, or something that has educational value, or anything. Content creating is very fun and it could "force" you to keep pushing your boundaries until you find new ones. Personally, I am a big fan of content creating. Youtube videos, blog writings, news, all that sort of stuff. I think it's one of the easiest ways of sharing positivity to other people around the world (although there are definitely pricks out there who uses this opportunity to spread negativity and fear). As long as you're contents are intended to affect people positively, content creating and content sharing would have so many benefits not only to the creator, but also to

Speech Script: Creativity, The Place Where Entrepreneurship Begins

So, hey guys! Today I thought that it's probably a good idea to share one of my speech scripts. This speech was made originally by me and was presented in the Sebelas Maret University for a speech competition held by SMU's English Student Association. On that occasion I got 3rd place and I was really happy about the script that I made. Anyway, I also want to say that the reason I shared this is because I wanted to help you guys who are trying to make a speech script. I don't want you guys to just copy this text, paste in Microsoft Word or something and print it because even though I wouldn't know, it's really easy for the judges (if you're going to participate in an English speech competition) to figure out whether the speech you're delivering is taken from the internet or not. I want you guys to be inspired and at least give you a little idea about what an ideal speech script looks like. However if you are still struggling then feel free to send me an e-ma
