What I Think About Zedd's New Album

So I actually got the True Colors album quite a while ago. And I have listened to it several times. It simply is awesome. I'm not like a really really super committed EDM fanboy. But the kind of music that Anton Zaslavski makes is simply different. I know that EDM is a actually a large music genre and there are a lot of sub-genres in it but that's about what I know. My knowledge isn't really that deep when it comes to EDM and I don't know what EDM sub-genre that Zedd specialises in. But I can definitely tell that it's different.

 When I say "different", I'm not only talking about the tunes and the beats and the drops or whatever. I'm also talking about the lyrics. Every song that Zedd makes always tells a story and I find that awesome. It's not like AronChupa's Albatraos that tells about a mouse named Lorry and suddenly it had something to do with the word "albatraos" which I thought was a name of a bird but in the end turned out to mean "a strong, independent woman" in god knows what language. I think that music is one of tons of medias out there to share stories through. And Zedd did exactly that through this album. He told stories about falling in love, experiencing heart breaks of some sort, showing your true colors, those kind of stuff. He really is telling something through his songs. And it really is that awesome.

 One of my his songs that I like the most in the True Colors album is "Daisy" which was sang by Julia Michaels. From my understanding, it was a story about someone named Daisy (oh, that's not obvious) and how the we experience the singer's love to him or her (no idea what gender). It was a simple song. But I find it really romantic and powerful in it's lyrics. There's a part where the lyrics said "I would take the light out the stars to help you see. Anything to guide you straight to me." And I was just like "How the hell did he come up with lyrics like these??" Zedd is clearly more than a DJ and that's exactly why I love his music.

 Have you listened to the True Colors album? Go buy it then! I guarantee you will not be pissed. And after you've bought it please do tell me what you think about the album itself and Zedd's music in general. See ya, lads...

Creating Contents and Getting it Out

Whether it's writing, typing, or making videos, getting stories out there into the public is a form of content creating. The stories in the form of words that you write or type and the videos that you film and produce will be seen by people and therefore your content would serve it's purpose. It could be an entertaining story, or something that has educational value, or anything. Content creating is very fun and it could "force" you to keep pushing your boundaries until you find new ones. Personally, I am a big fan of content creating. Youtube videos, blog writings, news, all that sort of stuff. I think it's one of the easiest ways of sharing positivity to other people around the world (although there are definitely pricks out there who uses this opportunity to spread negativity and fear). My Not So Professional Take on Indonesia's Education System

    So recently I just had this little realisation. I was about to call it an epiphany but I thought using that word would be a dramatisation, so for the moment let's just call it a minor realisation. So I live in Indonesia which if you don't know already, is a developing country. We have so many things to be proud about like our astonishingly diverse culture and our unique culinary taste.
