I Think You Have to Read This Book | Paper Towns by John Green

John Green's Paper Towns is awesome! I know there's been a loot of people criticizing this book on the internet and saying that it's similar to Looking for Alaska but for me it actually is awesome. This book tells a story about a guy named Quentin Jacobsen who was childhood friends with a girl named Margo Roth Spiegelman. One day Margo mysteriously vanished from the face of the Earth but she left what might seem to be clues for Q. So then Q decided to chase her and find out who Margo really was.

For me, the good part about this book is that it has touches of mystery solving stuff goin' on and I like mystery solving clues kinda stuff. And another thing is that it's filled with philosophy and metaphor kinda stuff. I mean honestly I didn't anticipate this but I also like metaphor philosophy stuff so hell yeaa.
One of the downsides that I felt is at the beginning, when you don't really know what's goin' on you get kinda confused and a little bored (maybe that's just me but I'm being honest here. But when you finally get the rhythm of the story then you just can't stop reading (maybe that's just me but that really happened).

Anyway I really recommend you to read this book. And besides, the movie comes up in June or July or something so you know, you might wanna feel that amazing sensation of reading the actual book before you get to watch the film. Again I've heard some people say that they're disappointed after reading this book but really I guess it just goes down to your taste and what kind of person you are and your perspective and those kinda stuff because to me, again, it actually is awesome.

PS: Please don't hesitate about commenting on my Blog. If anything it will actually be helpful. Thanks...

Speech Script: Being an Introvert

Hey, Guys. I thought I'll share another speech script today. I used this script when I was competing in a competition held by a Senior High in Bantul, Yogyakarta Special Area. I got 1st in that competition so I think this one is pretty good. And I also wanna say that in this speech script I slipped in a little personal story of mine. So it's gonna be a little hard if you're going to copy it haha... So here you go. I’ve always felt that I’m different compared to most people. At least compared to most students in my school. On break time, they like to gather in groups and gossip about someone or chat about the current trends. I prefer not to. If I necessarily have to get involved in a group chat outside my class, I always try not to do the unnecessary. Not to talk too much. Some people say that I’m shy and weird. Some even say I’m arrogant and antisocial. The truth is, I’m an “introvert”. So ladies and gentlemen, the honourable judges, and my fellow competitors, this morn...

Do you take notes in class?

Hi! It's been a hell of a long time, hasn't it? But here I am, finally back again. You know those people who make Blogs, writes on them, until they finally get either tired or bored or busy and their Blog gets deserted like the most quiet part of the Sahara? Well the first time I decided to make this Blog I was determined to not become that type of person. Anyway, I'm not really into a deep, philosophical talking right now. I'm in a more of a trivial mood if there even is such a thing. And in having this mood, a question just hatched at the top of my head. Do you take notes in class? I mean seriously. Do you take notes when you're studying or do you make notes of what your teacher writes on tho front board? Because I do. But I never revisit my notes. I have a number of friends that like to take notes of everything that has been either spoken or written in class. Some of them even go to extensive methods when it comes to note-taking e.g. buying expensive statione...

Fear & The National Finals

Fear. That thrilling sensation triggered by your brain that goes down your spine and from there, it swarms every centimetre cubic and square of your flesh and skin. That unsettling feeling translated into a consistently rapid heartbeat. It's one of those set of letters that you definitely don't want engraved in your mind. It's that thing that you don't want infecting your thoughts and ideas. It is the very embodiment of "not good". And those words above are probably an exaggeration. But let's be honest, some of it is definitely true and worth nodding your head towards. Whilst I am writing this blog, I am feeling fear. It has little to do with the blogpost itself. But it has everything to do with the Junior High School's national finals that is to be conducted on Monday, nationwide throughout the whole Indonesian archipelago. And you might wonder, what's so frightening about an exam? I mean, towards a certain extent, and to some people, it is sl...
